- A noun is the name of a person, place, thing or idea.
- Example: There was a goat in the library.
- A verb is a word which expresses action or being.
- Example: It’s enjoyable eating this sandwich.
- An Adjective is a word that tells you about a noun. Colours and numbers are considered adjectives. They allow us to modify another person or thing in a sentence.
